Finnish energy company Fortum has appointed Mr. Sanjay Aggarwal as Managing Director in India. Based in Fortum’s office in Gurgaon, Mr. Aggarwal will be responsible for developing Fortum’s Business in India with a particular focus on combined heat and power, as well as solar energy production. He will report to, Mr. Markus Rauramo, Executive Vice President, Heat, Electricity Sales and Solutions division, Fortum.

With Sanjay’s strong background in the energy sector and understanding of the Indian market, we hope to be able to address the local needs even better. Mr. Aggarwal has a strong background in the energy sector. Having graduated from the Delhi College of Engineering, he has gained his experience working for TATA Power, Finnish Wartsila, Swedish ABB and Thermax India.
