The international engineering and construction company M+W Group, Stuttgart has successfully completed the already announced takeover of Reliable Plant Solutions GmbH (RPS) with headquarters in Schkeuditz near Leipzig (Germany), following approval by Germany’s Cartel Office. The new, hundred percent-owned subsidiary will trade under the name M+W Power Solutions GmbH with immediate effect. Headquarters for the subsidiary will continue to be in Schkeuditz. For the first time M+W Power Solutions is exhibiting as a turnkey provider for the engineering and construction of conventional and regenerative power plant projects at the VGB Congress, ‘Power Plants 2012’ in Mannheim (Stand 1-A from 10 to 12 October).
M+W Group is focusing its business with energy & environment technologies in the M+W Power Solutions GmbH. This includes the services for power plants powered by fossil fuels and solar, as well as for power generation from biomass.
When implementing their power plant projects, customers will be able to benefit from the Group’s comprehensive expertise as a global EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) provider. The package of services extends from the technological and financial evaluation of a project in the concept phase, to design, material procurement and construction, right through to commissioning. Additonally, the projects will benefit from the experience of the Group in global engineering and construction.
