Solea AG, one of the leading Solar EPC companies from Bavaria, Germany announced a strategic partnership with Pinpoint Ventures Holding (Heidelberg,Germany) to enter the Indian market. Heidelberg Solar Private Limited (HSPL), a subsidiary of Pinpoint in Bangalore will be responsible for executing the solar projects in this partnership. Solea AG offers its EPC services through HSPL in the Indian market.
Initially the Heidelberg Solea partnership will concentrate on the South Indian states and will develop projects of size between 1 and 50 MW each. A total of approximately 200 MW of projects are planned to be developed within the next 3 years.
Solea AG brings through its partnership, the advantages of the German engineering and Project Management. Solea has developed more than 250 MW of power in Germany and other countries. Solea Group has an experience of building more than 135 grid based solar plants.

This partnership is seen as an important milestone in our International expansion strategy. In addition Heidelberg Solea partnership also provides assistance to Indian developers on acquiring soft loans from outside India”

The Heidelberg Solea partnership will also develop own projects by taking part in several RFPs in the south-indian states and in solar parks. The partnership is expected to build around 200 MW of power plants during the next 3 to 4 years. Heidelberg Solar is managed by its co-founder Mr. Praful Kumar who has more than 25 years experience in building and managing large electrical installations and projects.
