Tulsi Tanti of Suzlon to receive Global India award - India Renewable Energy Consulting – Solar, Biomass, Wind, Cleantech

Tulsi Tanti, popularly known as “Wind man of India”, has been selected for Chanchlani Global India award 2009 for his outstanding contributions to promote non-conventional sources of energy. The award, instituted by Canada India Foundation, carries doller 50,000 and a trophy.

Tanti, who hails from Gujrat in India and presently based in Pune, Maharashtra, will be conferred on the award on April 18 in presence of Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission and Michael Ignatieff, Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada (opposition leader in Parliament) will be the guests of honor.
