Megha renewables is a part of India’s largest Renewable Energy Company, Abellon Clean Energy as their Distribution Channel Partner primarily focused on Biomass and its allied products. The company also serves as the authorized channel partner of Lakshmi Energy and Environment Designs (LEED), a group company of Lakshmi Mill Works, Coimbatore catering to Waste to Energy and STP related projects.

1.Explain briefly the key solutions that Megha Renewables provides We offer solutions related to a. Biomass ( Agro Waste) b. Bio Gas ( Food Waste) c. STP / ETP ( Waste Water treatment)

2.What motivated you to enter this business? I think the Energy for All is the need of the hour and the only way out is to build a sustainable energy solution.

3.What are the key challenges faced in the Indian biomass and waste to energy industry? a. Lack of Awareness b. Availability of raw materials at source c. Vague Policy measures d. Lack of support from Government e. Source Segregation and logistic overheads

4.Can you provide more details about your partnership with Abellon Clean Energy? We are one of the Authorized Channel Partner for Abellon and we take their products / services related to Biomass.

5.What are your suggestions / advice to those keen on entering the biomass and waste to energy industry? As far as biomass is concerned, identify the right players to associate with and please ensure that the biomass fuel has its quality measures fully met before taking it to any customer.

As far as W2E is concerned, we would be doing a great deed of contribution in creating a sustainable solution with waste such as bioGas which is the best alternate for conventional LPG/Diesel that are fast depleting.

6.What are your future plans? Create a Core Energy platform by associating ourselves with technology partners in such a manner that any customer would be able to have access to Energy in a sustainable manner.

Ensure that the customers have 0% waste disposal which to a great extent will be able to reduce Carbon footprint as its the need of the hour.
