The MNRE is inviting suggestions and feedback regarding the selection of projects under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission(JNNSM). These suggestions will be considered while devising the policy for the second round of bidding for the remaining 296 MW of solar PV power projects of the first phase of the mission.The second round of bidding is expected to take place sometime during the period July-September 2011.)

The following are the areas where MNRE is seeking suggestions. (More details available at www.nvvn.co.in)

1.  What should be the maximum capacity of a PV grid power plant, which should be allowed at any location.  (The eligible minimum plant  capacity will continue to remain 5 MW.)

2.  What should be the maximum capacity (pl specify numbers and total MWs ) for a group /company to set up grid solar PV power plants. (This should be in multiple of 5 MW)

3.  Is there any need to modify or issue clarifications about any specific clause/condition of the guidelines issued on 25th July, 2010.
