Passion Nation from Clidemy – Let a thousand passionate climate professionals bloom
CliDemy – the Climate Academy will be running a unique experiment from Oct 2023 until end of March 2024 – Passion Nation.
We will search for 1000 talented professionals & students across India with a passion to contribute to climate action and connect them to corporates, startups, research organizations, investors and government bodies that are looking for them.
The key word is PASSION.
Every business knows that a talented person with a passion or a particular domain can add far more value than a person with talent alone.
Our specialty focus areas include 
At the same time, there are many talented professionals, students, researchers who are also passionate to contribute to climate action with their talent, and keen to join a company that appreciates such a combination.
At Clidemy, we have seen how each side is finding it difficult to discover the other.
Talent alone, India has plenty. But talent with a passion to contribute to climate action?
Passion Nation is 6 month experiment by Clidemy. The aim is to help 1000 passionate professionals with specific talents to get recruited by a range of climate action stakeholders – corporates, startups, investors, research organizations & more.
We would like to end the experiment end of Mar 2024, and review what has been achieved, and the value this talent is adding over the subsequent 12 months.
We will be running this experiment across functional roles (Research, Engineering, Operations, Management, Marketing, Finance…), and for all climate action verticals (clean energy, storage, efficiency, mobility, agri/food, materials, waste mgmt, water…)
So, there will be opportunities to participate for passionate folks from across all engineering & science categories, as well as for those from from operations (manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, admin…), management (marketing/sales, finance, top management, consulting…)
Determining talent for a specific position appears a fairly doable job, especially given the Clidemy team’s background in climate tech. But how on earth does one determine if someone has passion?
We will soon show you how we do it.
