You are so incredibly fascinating
If someone had said that a book on neuroscience would turn out to be an unputdownable page turner for me, I would have ROFL.
But that’s precisely what happened with the book “The Brain” by David Eagleman. If I’m allowed to recommend only one book for your reading during the lock down, this would be it.
Most of us would have wondered a bit about our brains, and this book takes us through the unbelievable entity that human brain is, in a manner that will enlighten and entertain anyone who can understand English – and is at least a wee bit curious.
The 250-page journey shows us not just what our brain is right now – and that in itself is thoroughly engrossing – but also what it is likely to become in future. Some of the future stuff appears plain science fiction, but Eagleman convinces us they’re already happening or will soon be a reality.
After reading this book, it’s unlikely you will be the same you – because you would have realized what a fascinating you you have in you.
Buy it. Read it.
