Read an interesting report on how farmers in Latur region and a few other areas of Maharashtra have seen a.sea.change in their crop yields and monetization.

Neither multicropping or river desilting is an innovation in itself, but the innovation I see is the approach by which the farmers have implemented these.

Sometimes, what is needed is not a new idea but executing an old idea in a new way.
