A few days back, just as I was about to kick off my dinner, I get this call from Vidhi Aggarwal. I liked everything about the call, except that she called me uncle.

Vidhi runs an NGO (Rosewell) and wants to help struggling urban street vendors do more with the help of solar power.

Deep dive into our work

She is looking for solutions that can both provide a shade to the vendors sitting in the hot sun while also providing them with a light at night so they can sell for longer hours.

The solar power will 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 – devices that are lifelines, opening up more business possibilities for them and enabling their kids to study at night.

I’m not sure if this is an original idea (most possibly not), but I’m super sure it is an idea worth trying.

Those interested can directly buzz her by connecting on LinkedIn (Vidhi Aggarwal – https://lnkd.in/gqrc28Jd ) or through the contact provided at their web site www.rosewell.in

I will be glad to pitch in if needed – please DM me on LinkedIn and I will do the needful.

A rather promising project that can be tried out fairly quickly, in my opinion.
