Green Hydrogen Plant to be Set Up by Jindal Stainless-Hygenco

As per the recent post by Business Standard, Jindal Stainless partnered with Hygenco India Private Limited to set up a green hydrogen plant. Moreover, Jindal Stainless becomes India’s first stainless steel firm to do so.

According to the post,

  • Jindal Stainless’ 300 MW hybrid energy project with ReNew to start by 2024
  • Project involves solar, wind, and hydrogen energy
  • Company aims to become carbon neutral by 2050
  • Global hybrid power solutions market projected to grow at 8.5% CAGR by 2027
