Solar For Schools @ Spark the Rise
Spark the Rise is a project platform initiated by the Mahindra Group to propel innovation, entrepreneurship, and positive change in India. I guess this platform is driven predominantly through volunteers.
Solar for Schools is one such project.
The motivation?
“Installing PV Solar Power Grids in schools will not just help schools to save running cost but, also set an example for the future generation to exp[lore the benefits for green energy.
Our specialty focus areas include 
Students are taught about the Green Revolution and Climate change but have not been exposed to real life situation where such technologies are implemented.
If Schools initiate such installation in their campuses for at least the basic lighting in the premises the child will learn more in the process about saving energy which is critical to this generation as these are the citizens who would have be a part of the Change that we talk about for our future
generations.”
