Jean-David Levitte, French President Nicholas Sarkozy’s diplomatic advisor, said that his country would sell 300 tonnes of uranium to India. Addressing reporters in New Delhi Levitte said India was receiving such a huge quantity of uranium after three decades. “We will sell to India 300 tonnes of uranium which is, I think for the first time in 34 years that a foreign country is selling to India uranium,” said Levitte.
