It was interesting for me to read that MDI Gurgaon has been offering PG diploma courses in energy management.

In order to create this pool of talent (for energy and power industry), Ministry of Power, in collaboration with USAID under the DRUM Project had developed a PGDM: Energy Management Programme in the power sector. The purpose of the programme is to select, train and develop the best talent available in our Power sector so that we can meet the challenge of developing and managing our power system in a manner that is second to none in the world.
Eligibility
A minimum of 3 years Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities /AICTE as eligible for Post-Graduate Studies in Management.
Our specialty focus areas include 
Minimum 5 years of post qualification executive work experience in the Power sector in central/state/private/other industries.
* For self sponsored candidates age is not more than 32 years.
* For sponsored candidates age is not more than 45 years.
