Schneider Electric signed an agreement to acquire Conzerv Systems, a leader in energy efficiency solutions in the Indian market. Conzerv caters to industrial and commercial power consumers and pioneered the design and manufacture of digital energy meters. It generates sales in $14 million and employs 337 people.
Conzerv Systems Pvt. Ltd. was originally incorporated as Enercon Systems Pvt. Ltd. in 1988. With a focus on design, development and implementation of energy management systems for industrial applications, today Conzerv has grown into a turnkey power management hub, with three production facilities in India and a presence in four countries.
Conzerv partners with clients to help them meet the evolving needs of a dynamic marketplace which demands increased energy savings, better power quality, and greater environmental awareness. The company’s energy management solutions start with world-class digital metering products designed, developed, and manufactured in-house. Completing the energy management value chain are the company’s Energy Management Networks, Demand Management, Power Factor Management, as well as Energy & Power Quality Audits.
