Starting soon, the country will witness IPOs. Oh well, it has already started, possibly: Sterlite Industries India, one of the country’s largest miners, said yesterday that it had issued $1.5 billion in new shares in the United States to fund its plans to increase power generation and finance acquisitions.

The other Indian power companies keen on IPOs are Adani Power, Indiabulls Power and NHPC
