The largest Ukrainian producer of turbine equipment, Kharkiv-based Turboatom plant, has agreed with Indian energy equipment producer, BHEL concern, on delivery of energy equipment to India, the press service of the Ukrainian company told the Ukrainian News agency.
The agreement was reached during the visit of the Turboatom’s delegation to India headed by director general of the Ukrainian enterprise, Viktor Subbotin, on November 9-13.
The MoU also contains major trends in joint co-operation, one which is the participation of the Ukrainian plant in the modernization of turbines with the capacity of 220 and 540 MW at the operating nuclear power plants, and also in the delivery of turbines with the capacity of 300, 500, 700, 1000 and 1200 MW for new nuclear power plants.
