India will triple is wind power generation capacity to 33,000 megawatt by 2022, New and Renewable Energy Minister Farooq Abdullah said.

The wind power energy target will be achieved through private public partnership initiatives, he said, adding his Ministry has received a large number of proposals from India Inc.
