Top clean energy technology trends for 2021 – IHS Markit

Here are the highlights of the top global clean energy trends for this year, predicted by IHS Markit:

=> Solar energy installations & innovation to grow rapidly

=> Offshore wind to reach 10 GW

Had somebody quizzed me, I could have predicted 3/4, except

recycling, but now that I know, I tend to agree with IHS Markit

wastemanagement solutions will see dramatic growth not just for 2021, for the entire 2020-2030 decade.

While these are global trends, I expect 3/4 (except

offshorewind) to have similar growth in India, and consequently significant growth in innovation as well.

Why not offshore wind? That will be for a different day chum, because long stories need a lot of time to tell.
