Careers in energy efficiency at IITs

Interesting energy monitoring & energy auditing careers with multiple IITs.

If you are a professional with 2-10 years experience in mechanical, electrical, electronics or energy engineering, and are interested in being part of an impactful effort from IITs dedicated to enhancing energy efficiency in Indian industry, read on.

IIT Madras launched in the year 2018, a dedicated Cell – Industrial Energy Assessment Cell (IEAC) to help large and small-scale industries reduce energy consumption through energy assessments as well as providing evaluated technological solutions. The energy assessment covers all the key utilities common across industries. Such assessments have resulted in significant savings for these industries. More about IEAC from here – www.ieac.in

IEAC is expanding its area of implementation and similar teams will be set up at other IITs located in Mumbai, Gandhinagar, Ropar, and Indore. For this expansion, IEAC is looking for Lead energy auditors (5-8 yrs exp, BTech/Mtech in EE, energy, instrumentation), Field technicians (Diploma/BTech in electrical, mech, instrumentation) & Project managers (8-12 yrs experience)
