So people, if you had not heard it before – we are all in climate trouble.

This trouble has been in the making for over a century.

And it appears that almost everyone has played some part in getting us here – corporates, government, the end user (me and you), investors, even the engineer goodfellas…

Here's more about EAI

Deep dive into our work

But which of the above according to you is the REAL climate villain, the folks responsible for the most damage?

Before you select the “obvious” choices (whatever is “obvious” for you), I request you to ponder a moment on these

=> 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬, industry & investments, and it also can drive government actions (at least in democracies).

=> Large 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 and leverage over critical product, process & technology choices.

=> Democratic governments, while partly driven by the market & vote banks, 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 3-4 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 during which time they can apply their own minds and conscience to take and implement decisions.

=> Large investors (some manage trillions of dollars – really!) can on their own sway both government & corporate decisions 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬

I know I have complicated your decision making a bit with all the above stuff, but here’s today’s Clidemy Poll question all the same: 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧?
