This STC aims to delve into the dynamic intersection of power electronics, the use of renewable energy, and advanced power systems, with a specific focus on their application in the field of electric vehicles. As we stand at the forefront of a paradigm shift towards sustainable technologies, this program seeks to equip educators with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate and contribute to this evolving landscape. During this course, the participants will engage in immersive sessions led by eminent academicians and industry experts in the field, hands-on learning, and the exploration of cutting-edge research. The program will cover topics ranging from the advancement of power electronics in EVs to the integration of renewable energy sources and the concept of modern power systems, providing a comprehensive understanding of the intricate synergy between these domains. The prime objective of this STC is to familiarize and train the academicians and research scholars in these emerging areas.

The participant of this STC is expected to gain knowledge on

  • On-board and Off-board battery chargers for EVs
  • The Application of wide band gap-based power converters for EVs 
  • Power electronics, converters, and design for EVs
  • The impact of EVs in the smart grid
  • Application of Renewable Energy Sources in EVs.

Moreover, this STC will also explore the opportunities of AI/ML techniques in the EV domain. We invite educators and researchers to join us on this journey of Viksit Bharat 2047, as we collectively strive to empower the future through advancements in electric vehicles and renewable energies. Together, paving the way toward a sustainable and energy-efficient tomorrow.
