What interested me was the statement that many Indian corporates would need deep decarbonization of 90-95% to reach Net Zero by SBTi standards.
So, while many companies worldwide and in India are taking the easier route through carbon offsets in their Net Zero efforts, they have to start biting the bullet soon to manage CO2 emissions in their value chain. There’s only so much carbon they can offset!
