Indowind Energy Ltd is a Chennai-based wind energy company. The company has currently generated 7.59 MW wind power and has added 20.25 MW power in last financial year. It has again intended to generate 30 MW by investing Rs 100 crore.
The company is in discussion with the Karnataka government for additional land to increase its production capacity from 15.92 MW and has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Gujarat government to set up 100 MW wind farm requiring an investment of Rs 650 crore.
