GE’s multidisciplinary unit, John F Welch Technology Centre, Bangalore has been conferred with the ‘Excellent Energy Efficient Unit’ award during a recently concluded ‘National Award for Excellence in Energy Management 2009’ organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Chennai. While engineers and technologists at the centre work towards developing energy efficient products for GE customers, they have also taken upon themselves in contributing to the environment through effective usage of energy and water.
