Gurgaon-based Greenobin Cashing on Waste Paper Management

Greenobin, a Gurgaon-based start-up has created a sustainable business opportunity in the space of organised waste paper management.

For decades waste paper collection has been the job of the unorganised sector present at every single society or office area. However, there lies a huge gap between total paper wasted and recycled.

Recognising the deficiency in the supply chain, Goel launched Greenobin, an entity that provides a complete range of independent recycling and waste paper management facilities to both industrial and commercial customers in NCR, including Gurgaon, while reducing volume of waste going to landfill

Started in 2009 with just one client, it has seen a 100 percent year on year growth, catering to 70 plus corporate clients in Gurgaon and NCR.

Claiming that improved recyclables recovery is the need of the hour Goel said, “Recovery rate is only about 25 percent in India due to the sector’s unorganised nature. Greenobin started with the thought of providing sustainable solution to the society for improving this rate.”
